When the right leader emerges, something truly big begins to happen
There are clients whose very presence immediately signals that something exceptional is about to unfold. This was certainly the case during the stay of the Wento sp. z o.o. team at Highland.
As a company supporting organizational development, we know that the key to success lies not only in strategies or tools, but above all in people. It is their potential, diversity of competencies, and mutual understanding that build the foundation for sustainable growth. Especially in times of change—when an organization is growing dynamically and setting ambitious goals for the months ahead—the role of the team becomes even more crucial.
In such moments, the role of a leader is of immense importance. One who understands that organizational effectiveness begins with people—their strengths, engagement, and relationships. Observing this process in practice is a true pleasure.
During their stay at Highland, Joern Hackbarth, in collaboration with trainer Sian Thomas, created a space not only for workshop-based work but also for building authentic relationships. In addition to time spent in the training room, the team made full use of the Highland environment for informal conversations, shared meals, and simply being together outside of a formal context.
It is precisely these moments—less formal, more human—that often prove to be the key to real change.
At Highland, we aim to create a space where organizations can talk about what truly matters. A place that offers a sense of safety and intimacy, and fosters openness. A space that is not merely a “background,” but actively supports the development process.
As Sian Thomas emphasized, in her 20 years of workshop experience, she has never encountered a place that so naturally combines business, development, and people—a place where one can feel both at ease and fully engaged.
We are eagerly looking forward to the results of this work. And we hope that the Wento team will return to share their successes with us.
